| Name ♦ Madara Uchiha. Alias ♦ Tobi. Affiliation ♦ Akatsuki. Alignment ♦ Chaotic Evil (Madara) | Neutral (Tobi) Species ♦ Human/Immortal. Fandom ♦ Naruto. Gender ♦ Male. Madara was born to an age when shinobi fought against each other in clans, rather than hidden villages. And it was during that age that he was a member of the Uchiha Clan: one of the two strongest clans above the rest. The other clan was the Senju Clan of the Forest. During his childhood, he was discovered of possessing great potential, more potential than any other Uchiha could hope to achieve at the time. So with that power, he managed to activate the Mangekyo Sharingan, and grow up to become the tenacious leader of the Uchiha Clan alongside his younger brother. Unfortunately, the Mangekyo Sharingan held a curse, in which it's user would slowly go blind over time. Madara's brother decided it was best for him to sacrifice his eyes to his brother, therefore Madara continued to live on, cheating the curse and gaining the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. With this new breed of Sharingan, he carried the Uchiha Clan to the very top. Eventually, the majority of the clan chose to form an alliance with the Senju Clan, thus leading to the foundation of Konohagakure: The Hidden Village of the Leaves. However, it was Hashirima Senju, the leader of the Senju Clan, who was elected as the First Hokage, much to Madara's dismay. For he feared that not only would he be at a lower position than Hashirima, but that the Uchiha Clan would lose it's former glory. So Madara would try and usurp Konoha by asking for the assistance of fellow clansmen, only to be rejected and considered a 'tryant'. Betrayed, Madara left the village, only to return with a desire for vengeance against his misunderstood motives. He later confronted Hashirima in what was the Valley of the End, putting up a severely climatic battle that resulted in Madara's penultimate loss. He was presumed dead shortly after, the last trace of his own existence being a large statue of himself and Hashirima that would allow all to remember what happened that day. Such a loss eventually, would lead to so many victories. One victory was the creation of a group known as Akatsuki; initially consisting of Pein, Konan, Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, Zetsu, Deidara, Sasori, Hidan, Kakuzu, and Orochimaru. Pein served as the figurehead, Madara being the true leader, whose identity is only known by Pein, Konan, Kisame, Itachi, and Zetsu. With Akatsuki, Madara would proceed with furthering his goals by acquiring the power of the Tailed Beasts. |
Under the guise of “Tobi”, Madara behaves in an oh-so very childish manner. A large buffoon, he appears rude and obnoxious, seemingly unintentionally offending and speaking ill of fellow Akatsuki members in failed attempts to compliments them. It is expected of Tobi to be sarcastic, and whine about specific things, thus irritating his peers to certain degree that, when measured, far surpasses the length of a milestone. However, the true Madara is a sinister being. Initially the “founding father” of the Uchiha Clan, he bathes himself in pride and arrogance. For as the mastermind that he is, he couldn't care less about any impediment in his path for glory, often doing whatever possible and whatever logical to gain the upper hand. With his nonchalant disposition, he carries out and plans anything very carefully, often observing to gather more information by starting what others would finish. Those others being the Akatsuki. Strengths/Abilities; Ultimately, Madara is a force to be reckoned with. He is immortal, free from the human's curse of aging and death. With his immortality, he can freely use his Mangekyo Sharingan with no remorse, knowing he had abolished all catches to such power. With that Sharingan, he may detect, predict, and record the movements of opponents, as well as induce mass hypnosis or psychological torture into opponents who may look at his ever-piercing gaze. With his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, he is capable of manipulating time and space, allowing them to work in his favor. So with time and space in his repertoire, he can tame powerful beings and slay the most fearsome of opponents. If others knew “Tobi” before Madara, they might as well be very skeptical towards his potential. Weaknesses; In canon, Madara has yet to show any true signs of weakness, except as “Tobi”, the guise he will often be using in Paradisim. So as Tobi, his sheer clumsiness is his undoing, often dropping things on accident or behaving too obnoxious for his own good.
